Agora, Jay-Z acumula 83 indicações e 23 vitórias no Grammy Awards

Jay-Z se tornou o artista mais indicado da história do Grammy Awards. Nesta terça, 23, a Recording Academy revelou os indicados da 64ª edição da premiação e anunciou o nome do rapper três vezes ao longo das categorias. (Via Variety)

Jay-Z concorre em Álbum do Ano por participar de Donda (2021), de Kanye West, atualmente conhecido como Ye. Além disso, o músico compete em Melhor Música de Rap pelas faixas “Bath Salts,” de DMX, e “Jail,” de Kanye West.

Assim, Jay-Z acumulou 83 indicações ao Grammy e ultrapassou Quincy Jones, que possui 80 nomeações. O rapper concorreu pela primeira vez na premiação em 1998 e, desde então, conta com impressionantes 23 vitórias.

No ranking de artistas com mais indicações ao Grammy, Jay-Z também está na frente do ex-Beatles Paul McCartney (81), a própria esposa Beyoncé (80), Stevie Wonder e Georg Solti, ambos com 74 nomeações.

O Grammy 2022 será realizado no dia 31 de janeiro de 2022, na Crypto.com Arena, em Los Angeles, Estados Unidos. Jon Batiste lidera esta edição com 11 indicações, seguido por Justin Bieber (8), Doja Cat (8), H.E.R. (8), Billie Eilish (7) e Olivia Rodrigo (7).
