A cerimônia do Grammy foi realizada neste domingo (12/02) em Los Angeles, Estados Unidos. Adele foi a grande vancedora

da noite, levando para casa os prêmios de Álbum do Ano, Gravação do Ano, Música do Ano, Melhor Álbum Pop, Melhor Performance Solo Pop. Ao receber o prêmio por Álbum do Ano, a cantora fez o discurso direcionado a Beyoncé, agradecendo pela inspiração e pelo empoderamento negro que Lemonade trouxe.

Com apresentação de James Corden, a premiação contou com os shows de Adele, The Weeknd e Daft Punk, Keith Urban e Carrie Underwood, Ed Sheeran, Lukas Graham e Kelsea Ballerini, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, William Bell e Gary Clark Jr., Maren Morris e Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga e Metallica, Sturgill Simpson, A Tribe Called Quest e Anderson .Paak, Chance The Rapper,

Adele teve um problema técnico durante seu tributo para George Michael. Ela pediu desculpas ao público e recomeçou “Fast Love”, faixa escolhida por ela para a homenagem. A performance de Lady Gaga com o Metallica também apresentou falhas técnicas, com o microfone do vocalista James Hetfield sem funcionar no começo da apresentação.

Os Bee Gees também foram homenageados na premiação. Tori Kelly, Demi Lovato, Little Big Town e Andra Day cantaram os sucessos da banda. Prince, que faleceu em abril do ano passado, recebeu tributo de The Time e Bruno Mars, que cantou e tocou guitarra vestido como o cantor.
